GeoTek Energy LLC
GeoTek Energy, LLC is a technology leader in the alternative energy / geothermal industry. Geothermal power is a renewable resource that has no emissions, neither hydrocarbon nor carbon dioxide. The Company provides 3 MW energy modules, which convert the earth’s natural heat into electricity. GeoTek is also developing its Gravity Head Energy System technology which produces significantly greater power compared to the present state-of-the-art Binary Cycle power plant technology.  The Company has strong leadership and technology partners.

GeoTek Management Team

Kenneth Fryrear
Mr Fryrear joined GeoTek in 2009 as the Chief Operating Officer.  Mr Fryrear brings over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas, chemical, and refining industries to GeoTek.  Most of his career has been spent in engineering, design, and project management.  Mr Fryrear has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering  and is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Texas.  He has significant experience in industrial electrical engineering including the installation of process control systems, electrical power systems, and power substations.

Board of Managers

Don Tyler
Mr. Tyler is the Chairman of the Board of Managers of GeoTek. He has been a Manager of GeoTek since May 2009. Mr. Tyler has been employed by Ortloff Technology since 1999 and currently serves as the Manager of Engineering Services of Ortloff Technology. Mr. Tyler graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Craig Campbell
Mr. Campbell is a co-founder and a manager of GeoTek. Mr. Campbell graduated from the University of Texas in 1972 with a BBA in Finance. Mr. Campbell has been employed with Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith, Inc. since 1977. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of COM Aquatic Center, and is also a co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Ortloff Engineers, Ltd. and a co-founder and Director of Trace Engines L.P.

Glenn Lovelace
Mr. Lovelace is a co-founder and a Manager of GeoTek. He served as our President and Chief Executive Officer from October 2004 until January 2007. In addition to serving as Manager of GeoTek, Mr. Lovelace has served as Chief Executive Officer of Penasco Valley Telecom, Artesia, New Mexico, since October 2006. Mr. Lovelace is a director of Red Horse Wireless, Inc. and has also served as an advisor to BroadQ, Build Forge, Inc., and the University of Texas Center for Electromechanics. He has over thirty years of broad business and product development experience, including eleven years as CEO. He has helped raise over $100 million dollars in debt and equity for small and early stage businesses. Mr. Lovelace was a member of the Central Texas selection committee for the Texas Emerging Technology Fund. Mr. Lovelace earned an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.

Bill Rutter
Mr. Rutter is a co-founder and Manager of GeoTek. He has been an owner and principal of Rutter and Wilbanks Corporation, an oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in Midland, Texas, since 1981. He graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a BA degree in Plan II in 1975.

Gary Ring
Mr. Ring has been a Manager of GeoTek since 2007. He currently is an Engineering Advisor for Blade Energy Partners, Ltd., a position he has held since July 2006. Prior to joining Blade Energy, Mr. Ring was employed as operations manager by Connectra Fusion Technologies, LLC. Mr. Ring has over thirty years of experience in the oil and gas, aircraft, heavy equipment and plastic pipe industries. Twenty-two years of this time was spent at Mobil E&P Research. He has broad experience in mechanical engineering, business management, project management for research and construction projects. He has been involved with manufacturing equipment design and quality assurance quality control, material science research, economic analysis and strategic business planning. Mr. Ring holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Dallas.
